PLEASE NOTE because of our requirement
for a home visit prior to adoption,
we are only able to adopt within the general area
of Wichita and the surrounding communities.
The primary requirement for adoption is to have a history of being responsible pet owners or the desire to be a responsible pet owner.
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTION, YOU MUST:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have all your current pets spayed or neutered
- Have all your current pets up to date on all vet recommended vaccinations
- Have your current dog(s) on heartworm preventive
- Have a securely fenced yard or request an exception for the fence requirement (to be determined on a case by case basis)
Please remember many of these dogs have been abandoned
once and we wish to ensure this never happens again.
